The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) improvement construction project in Aventura to replace existing wastewater lines is anticipated to be completed by March of 2022. Impact to traffic in the area is expected. Use caution.
The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) began their improvement construction project in Aventura on Monday, April 19, 2021 to replace existing wastewater lines along Island Boulevard and N.E. 183 Street from Biscayne Boulevard east to Williams Island.
To enhance the reliability of the wastewater system, the Department will be upgrading the water and sewer infrastructure by replacing existing wastewater lines with new lines. Most of the construction work will occur during the weekdays. There may be some night and weekend work when necessary. The project is expected to be completed by March of 2022.
Impact to traffic is expected in the affected area throughout the duration of the project.
