Summer Camp Programs

The City of Aventura is excited to announce its 2022 Summer Camp programs, which includes a variety of special interest camps to be held at the Aventura Community Recreation Center and Tennis Camp at Founders Park.

Online registration is open and can be completed exclusively online at, the City’s Online Registration System (ORS). 

There’s a camp for everyone this summer! Campers will spend their summer break making new friends and enjoying plenty of activities in their camp of interest.

All camps (unless specified) will be held Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. starting Monday, June 13, 2022 through Friday, August 12, 2022. Two-week session rates are available and vary based on the camp selected.

Participants must be registered prior to attending any program. Registration can be completed exclusively online. Please visit to complete the registration process with a valid account. There is a $20 late registration fee applied to all registrations received on or after the Saturday prior to the selected program’s start date.

Camp at the Aventura Community Recreation Center

Art Camp (Ages 5-12) introduces different artists, media and techniques through art history and multicultural appreciation.

Basketball Camp (Ages 5-15) introduces and emphasizes the fundamentals of basketball. From skills and drills to the importance of teamwork, this camp is for athletes of all skill levels. *Some groups may be held at the Don Soffer Aventura High School gymnasium pending enrollment.

Dance Camp (Ages 5-12) concentrates on teaching technique and choreography as well as preparation for performance at the Annual Summer Camp Talent Show.

General Camp (Ages 5-12) provides the enjoyment of arts & crafts, games, sports, and special events.

Jr. Marine Biology Summer Camp (Ages 8-12) This camp experience provides youth the opportunity to learn about the beautiful natural habitat through a combination of hands-on experiences and classroom learning. Campers will be taking a bus to Key Biscayne every day for several water activities include swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding.

Soccer Camp (Ages 5-12) introduces and emphasizes the fundamentals of soccer. From skills and drills to the importance of teamwork, this camp is for athletes of all skill levels.

STEM Camp (Ages 7-12) explores the interconnectedness between science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) while creativity and problem-solving skills get challenged.

Travel Camp (Ages 8-12) Our Travel Care takes to the road with a combination of exciting field trips and activities in our camp facilities. Campers will enjoy new experiences by taking trips every day of the week!

Camp at Founders Park
Session Rate (One week)
Tennis Camp at Founders Park (Ages 6-17) provides a fun, high-quality level of instruction where players of all skill levels may improve their tennis skills, make new friends, and challenge themselves. Campers are required to bring their own tennis racquet and refillable water bottle.
