The City of Aventura releases its Teacher Planning Day (TPD) program schedule for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year.
When school is not in session due to teacher planning days, the City offers children ages 5-12 a day-camp feel with a variety of enrichment activities such as sports, health & wellness programs, games, arts & crafts, and recreational activities. The program is held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Community Recreation Center located at 3375 NE 188 St., Aventura, FL 33180. The schedule is as follows:

- Tuesday, August 15th
- Wednesday, August 16th
- Monday, September 25th
- Wednesday, October 27th
- Thursday, November 9th (ACES Only)
- Friday, December 22nd
- Friday, January 19th
- Friday, March 22nd (MDCPS Only)
- Friday, April 8th (ACES Only)
- Wednesday, April 10th (MDCPS Only)
- Friday, June 7th
The program fee for each day includes all activities, supplies, and lunch at a rate of $45 for Aventura residents and $54 for non-Aventura residents. Participants must be registered prior to attending any program. Registration can be completed exclusively online only. Please visit the City’s Online Registration System (ORS) at cityofaventura.com/ors to complete the registration with a valid and existing new account.
