halloween movie night news flash

The City of Aventura kicks off the 2023-24 Movie Night season on Saturday, October 21, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Peace Park (3200 NE 188th Street) featuring the highly acclaimed animated film “The Little Mermaid.” The park opens at 6:00 p.m. and the movie starts at 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy a beautiful South Florida evening outdoors and watch the youngest of King Triton's daughters, Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, Ariel visits the surface and falls for the dashing Prince Eric. Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land.

Guests are welcome to bring food, blankets, and/or lawn chairs. Food trucks will also be on the premises for the duration of the event. Please note that food deliveries, alcoholic beverages, and pets are not permitted in the park.

Please remember that all other amenities of the park will be closed. Additionally, the City asks families to please be sure to keep their little ones close at all times.

Ticket reservations are required for every individual and can be completed online only with a valid and existing account at cityofaventura.com/ors, the City’s Online Registration System (ORS). The cost is $2 per person. Everyone including young children and babies is required to purchase a ticket. The reservation includes a fun night of dancing, a costume parade, food trucks, goodie bags, raffles, photo opportunities, and a movie.

Tickets will be attached to your receipt upon submission of payment. In order to enter the event, you must pick up your wristbands at the Community Recreation Center PRIOR to the day of the event.
