The City of Aventura’s Waterways Dog Park has now reopened to Aventura residents and has updated its park operations and restrictions in accordance with Miami-Dade County’s Moving to a New Normal guidelines.
The City welcomes back Aventura residents with proper identification to enjoy this and all of its reopened parks for passive use only while adhering to specific guidelines and restrictions. At this time, the parks are not open to non-Aventura residents.
An amendment to the Declaration regarding the re-opening of establishments on June 8, 2020 states that dogs shall remain leashed in all areas of the re-opened dog parks, and tennis doubles play may be allowed in conformance with the County's New Normal.
Commencing June 8, 2020 banquet halls, gyms, fitness centers, dog parks, summer camps, youth activities, massage studios or parlors, and tattoo parlors may open, provided that each such establishment complies with the protocols set forth by the county.
Commencing June 1, 2020 swimming pools and hotels may open, provided that each such establishment complies with the protocols contained in the Amended County Emergency Order.
Commencing Monday, May 18, 2020, the following retail and commercial establishments may open, provided that each such establishment complies with the requirements contained in Miami-Dade County Emergency Order 23-20, dated May 15, 2020.
