The Aventura Police Department is excited to launch its new Police Explorer Program. The Department is looking for highly motivated young men and women (between the ages of 14-19) interested in learning about the law enforcement profession.
About the Explorer Program
The Police Explorer Program enhances leadership skills, develops teamwork and introduces candidates to a life of service in order to make a difference in their community.
Requirements
Candidates should:
- Have good moral character,
- Participate in scheduled meetings,
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher,
- Complete a background check,
- Attend a local school (Priority will be given to Aventura residents).
