Aventura Seeks Players to Join its Aventura F.C. UPSL Team

The City of Aventura’s F.C. UPSL Team has available team member spots for interested men, ages 17-30 who are willing to commit and play through the season, which runs August 2024 through May 2025.
The City and Bold Nation will be hosting a one-time tryout on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Founders Park. Registration is required for the tryout and is now open!
The Aventura Football Club (AFC) is the City’s official club for travel soccer teams where players are placed in a team appropriate for their age group. The AFC is a member of UPSL (United Premier Soccer League). With support from its professional coaching staff, UPSL provides an appropriate level of development for each player, which includes learning new skills, playing on a team, and instilling the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Upon team placement, players will be expected to attend practice on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Founders Park located at 3105 NE 190th Street. Games are to be scheduled locally and throughout the state of Florida. Further information and scheduling can be found online at www.cityofaventura.com/ors.
Participants must pay an initial registration/club fee of $200 that covers referee, league, and player card fees for the season. This is a one-time fee per season. Participants must also pay monthly fees of $160 for Aventura residents and $216 for non-residents. (The monthly fees
are broken down into a 10-month season that includes practices and local games (Tournament fees are separate and not included).
All players must be approved and have the required flag for registration. Registration can be completed online at cityofaventura.com/ors, the City’s Online Registration System (ORS).
