Movie Night
Enjoy a beautiful, outdoor, South Florida evening under the stars watching a family-friendly movie on the waterfront! Guests are welcome to bring their own food and blankets and/or lawn chairs. The City of Aventura will provide free popcorn, but there will also be food and drink options for available for purchase duration of the event.

Grab your tropical outfit and get ready for laughs, heart, and a whole lot of chaos as Lilo & Stitch hits the big screen. Perfect for kids, parents, and anyone who loves a feel-good adventure.
*Freakier Friday - 9:30PM
Get ready to freak out... again! The ultimate body swap comedy is back with Freakier Friday. Twice the chaos and twice the laugh and a whole lot of "wait... that's you?!" Movie night fun for the whole family.
*This screening will be a silent disco-style event with wireless headphones. The city will provide headphones, which must be checked in and out. A valid ID will be held for security until the headphones are returned.
Ticket Information
Tickets will be attached to your receipt upon payment. To enter the event, you must pick up your own wristbands at the Community Recreation Center prior to the event.
- Each movie requires its own ticket. If you plan to attend both movies, you must purchase a ticket for each one separately.
- Reservations are required and can only be made online at cityofaventura.com/ors.
- Tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00AM.
- Cost for Lilo & Stitch: $2 per person (all ages, including babies, require a ticket).
- Cost for Freakier Friday: $4 per person (all ages, including babies, require a ticket).
- Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be duplicated.
Wristband Pick-Up
A valid ID is required for wristband pick-up. Each ticket corresponds to one wristband, which must be worn for entry. Wristbands must be picked up in advance at the Community Recreation Center between Tuesday, February 17 through Friday, February 20 during the following hours:
- 9:00AM - 12:00 PM
- 7:00PM - 9:00PM
Parking
Parking will be available in front of the City of Aventura Community Recreation Center/ Arts and Cultural Center. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to park and get settled in prior to show time.
Safety Guidelines
The City’s Community Services Department carefully planned and prepared this event with guidelines to safely protect the health and welfare of the community it serves. Please be advised that details may be subject to change due to any updated safety restrictions and guidelines.
The Community Recreation Center restrooms will be available for use. Entrance/exits will be monitored by City of Aventura Police & Rec Center staff, but being that this is a waterfront venue, the city requests that families please be sure to keep their little ones close at all times.
