Important Flood Risk Information for Aventura Residents
As a participating member of FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), the City of Aventura makes flood insurance available to all property owners. Through the Community Rating System (CRS) the City has secured up to a 15% discount on qualifying NFIP policies, making protecting your property and contents more affordable.
To determine whether your property is in a high-risk area and requires flood insurance, contact the Floodplain Administrator at (305) 466 8970 for a Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) determination.
